Brake dust is nasty stuff-- really nasty stuff. It contains a whole mess of unwanted particles of almost every kind. The combination of road grime and heat/moisture from the environment will bake it straight onto your wheels, causing a stain that is almost impossible to remove. Luckily, before that point, brake dust just barely clings onto your wheel via static electricity; it is easily removed with a damp cloth. Save your wheels-- clean off that brake dust before it makes itself a permanent resident!

A bit of air can save you a lot at the pump!
The Holidays are upon us! Naturally, everyone wants to be with family during the holidays, and that means traveling. With the high price of gasoline, traveling for the Holidays can be very costly. We are here to help you though! Here is a tip, from fueleconomy.gov, to optimize the number of miles you get out of each tank:
Keep your tires properly inflated.
You can improve your gas mileage by up to 3.3 percent by keeping your tires inflated to the proper pressure. Under-inflated tires can lower gas mileage by 0.3 percent for every 1 psi drop in pressure of all four tires. Properly inflated tires are safer and last longer.
The proper tire pressure for your vehicle is usually found on a sticker in the driver's side door jamb or the glove box and in your owner's manual. Do not use the maximum pressure printed on the tire's sidewall.
Fuel Economy Benefit: 3%
Equivalent Gasoline Savings: Approx. $0.11/gallon
If you notice that your tires are looking worn down while checking the pressure, head on over to the Concord Kia Service Specials page to check out our great service specials!
